Prensa Latina News Agency reports that the construction works to widen the Panama Canal are going on, and a part of them is to be finished in 2014.
Panama Canal Authority executives said the first dry excavation stage, of which CUSA Company is in charge, has been fulfilled in almost 90 percent.
The cost of the Panama Canal widening will be $5.2 billion.
